1962年出生於金門縣。曾在廣告公司擔任企劃長達十多年。2007年，偶然際遇，讓他體認到臺灣這塊土地上的一切竟是如此美好，於是，便開始從事繪本創作。擅於融入動物角色，也畫過不少戰爭相關的故事，出版童書創作《拐杖狗》、《旗魚王》、 《鄭和下西洋的秘密》等，獲獎無數的他，曾榮獲2008、2012、2015和2021年共四屆五座金鼎獎。

Lee, Ru-Qing was born in Kinmen in 1962. He had more than 10 years of experience in the advertising industry. In 2007, he began his career in picture book drawing and story writing. Most of his works are related to animals and have a number of stories are about the wars. His published works include "The Dog with a Crutch", "The Spearfish King", "The Secret of Zheng He's Voyages to the West" and others. Lee has received numerous awards for his works, including winning 5 awards in 4 Golden Tripod Awards in 2008, 2012, 2015 and 2021.
